* GUARANTEE:  We guarantee that all of our Mountain House products are the freshest available
on the market. We are in Oregon, where the Mountain House Food Products are produced.
All food products are cooked fresh and then had the moisture removed and vacuumed packed. To eat, Just add boiling water and let stand a couple minutes.

* SHIPPING: Orders are shipped via UPS Ground or US MAIL. We are unable to ship Mountain House products outside of the United States.

* PLACING AN ORDER:  Due to the high volume of orders we are no longer able to accept retail orders via phone or fax.

* TRANSIT TIME :  Orders placed on our web site prior to 2:00 pm PST (Monday-Friday), Excluding Holidays, Will be processed the next business day.   Orders will arrive within 5-7 days from the day they ship. Your package will be delivered by the United States Post Office or UPS.

Mountain House  return policy is no returns on food items unless the product is damaged or defective.

Do you ship outside of the USA?
     Due to import regulations on meat and poultry we are not able to ship Mountain House
     to individuals who live outside the USA.

What is your return policy?'s  return policy is NO returns on food items unless the product
     is damaged or defective. If you have a damaged or defective pouch, please e-mail  for a return authorization.
    The most common reason for a defective product is the customer opened the package
    with a box cutter and cut through the vacuum packaging on the food.

What is the difference between the 16oz., 20oz. and 40oz. entrees?
     The 16oz. entree is considered a Single-Serve entree and makes 2 cups of food by volume.
     The 20oz. entree is considered a Double-Serve entree and makes approximately 2 1/2 cups
     of food by volume. However many people eat this as a
     single serve item, depending on the necessary caloric
     The 40oz. entree is considered a Four-Serve entree and makes approximately 5 cups
     of food by volume. This larger size pouch has two inner
     preparation pouches inside and can be evenly split between two people.

What is the shelf life of Mountain House products?
     Pouches - Based on storage studies conducted over many years, our shelf life is at least 5 years
    from the date of manufacture if stored properly. For best results, we recommend the pouches be stored unopened in a cool
    dry area.
     #10 Cans - Mountain House Food products packed in #10 cans offer a 30+ year shelf life.
      We have personally tasted product that is 35 years old and it still tastes great!
     After opening, we recommend using the contents within 2 to 3 weeks for best results and taste. Use the convenient resealable plastic lid between uses. Treat any leftover food as you would fresh food.

SHIPPING RATES:  Shipping is based on 89 CENTS Per Pound, plus a Base Rate of $4.95.
The based rate pays for the shipping of the first pound plus the carton. 

SHIPPING: We Ship to the USA ONLY. Most all products are shipped by UPS Ground. If you would like
a quicker shipping method, you will have to e-mail us in advance to arrange it. Lighter weight items and
shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, are US Mail/Parcel Post. Products are shipped with in 24 Hrs of
receipt of Payment, 5 Business days a week. (Excluding Holidays). SHIPPING FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE

Guarantees:  All products are Guaranteed 100% against Manufacturing Defects in Workmanship & Materials.
Shipments are also guaranteed against Damage.  If you have received a faulty product or a damaged product,
we have to be notified within 7 Days of Shipment. UPS has a 15 day time requirement for shipping damage claims.
If you want  us to file a claim on your behalf, please notify us with 7 days, otherwise we may not be able to do anything.
So please check your shipment when it arrives.

All Tents have 100 % Warranty against factory, manufacturing defects.  Defective materials or defective workmanship.
If you have a defective tent you can send it in for a repair or replacement. Shipping fees are not refundable.
Replacement items will be shipped at our expense. 
Tent purchases are not refundable, so be sure you are purchasing the right tent for your use or purpose, before you buy.

Include a copy of  Your Proof of Purchase:  Your Credit Card Receipt, Pay Pal Receipt,
MO Receipt, or Canceled Check. So we can Credit Back the Proper Persons Account.
If your item is returned in UN-USED and in ORIGANAL PACKAGING (but is NOT returned for warranty reasons)
(defects in workmanship and materials)

EXAMPLE: Did not read the ad and ordered the wrong size or color, changed your mind and
decided to wait on the purchase,  then we will except the item back IF UN-USED AND IN THE ORIGINAL
PACKAGING, but there is a 15% restocking free to cover all bank fees, packaging and labor.
Shipping fees are NOT reimbursed and we will not issue a pick up tag.

CANCELLATIONS:  There is a 15% restocking fee on orders that are canceled before shipment.
This fee covers  bank charges, packaging and labor for the charged item.
